Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Lingopal's website, services, software, and related platform functionality. By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and agree to be bound by them together with our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
The platform is intended for users who are at least 16 years old. By using the platform, you represent that you meet that requirement and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
3. Communications
If you register with Lingopal, we may send you service-related emails such as password resets, confirmations, product notices, and marketing updates. You may opt out of marketing messages at any time.
4. Purchases and Billing
If you purchase services through the platform, you may be required to provide billing and payment information. You represent that the information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
5. Subscriptions and Free Trials
Certain services may be offered on a subscription basis, as fixed-term services, or as one-time add-ons. Subscription renewals may occur automatically unless canceled before the relevant billing cycle ends. We may also offer free trials at our discretion and reserve the right to modify or withdraw them.
6. Refunds
Consumer purchases may be eligible for refund requests within fifteen days of purchase, subject to pro-rating where services have already been used. Refunds do not apply to business customers unless otherwise agreed in writing.
7. Software License
During an active subscription, Lingopal grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to access and use the software in accordance with these terms. You may not reverse engineer, modify, copy, rent, or distribute the software except where expressly permitted.
8. User Content
You remain responsible for the legality, reliability, and appropriateness of any content you upload, submit, or generate through the platform. You retain rights in your content, but grant Lingopal the rights necessary to operate, improve, and support the platform.
9. Acceptable Use
You must not use the platform in ways that violate law, infringe the rights of others, impersonate another person or entity, expose minors to harm, create offensive or fraudulent content, or interfere with the platform's operation or security.
Lingopal may review or reject content that appears to violate these terms or the acceptable use policy, and may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated violations.
10. Confidential Information
Each party agrees to use confidential information solely as needed to perform under the agreement and not to disclose it except as required by law or with prior authorization.
11. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information and for protecting your credentials. You must notify Lingopal promptly if you become aware of unauthorized access or a security breach.
12. Feedback
If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback, Lingopal may use that feedback without restriction or compensation to improve the platform and related technology.
13. Third-Party Links
The platform may include links to third-party sites or services that are not controlled by Lingopal. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.
14. Disclaimer
The platform and related services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. Lingopal disclaims warranties regarding availability, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose except where such disclaimers are prohibited by law.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lingopal will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Aggregate liability arising from these terms will not exceed the amount paid for the relevant service or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
16. Termination
Lingopal may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms. You may stop using the platform at any time. Certain provisions, including those related to ownership, confidentiality, liability, and indemnity, survive termination.
17. Governing Law
These terms and any disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of Delaware, USA, unless applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
18. Changes to the Terms
Lingopal may update these terms from time to time by posting the revised version on the site. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
